Have your DVD’s delivered to your home

February 22nd, 2009 · No Comments

I have a long list of movies which I haven’t seen yet. This doesn’t include those movies which come out every week and for which I have a Tuesday-night cinema plan every week! My favorite place in Montreal to rent DVDs (if I want to be honest and not to download them, which I prefer to do so!) is the “Movie Land” on Ste. Catherine. However, every time I rent something, it costs me 4$ for 2 days. Moreover, as another negative point, the store in not close to my place.

I have recently started using an online DVD rental service. This means that I pick my favorite movies online and they are then sent to my door in one or two days. There is no late return fee so I can take my time to watch the movie whenever I feel like doing so. As I am not going to promote any of those services in this blog because I am still not sure with their service, I would not mention the name but you can find a vast variety of online DVD rental services available in Canada by a simple search in Google.

The only complain I have heard from users is that if for any reason, a DVD gets lost in the mail, then the user is counted responsible and should pay the price of a new DVD! Well, I hope this doesn’t happen to me!
